  • Directions for use

    PREPARE AND CLEAN

Use a clean cloth with hot soapy water to remove any dust or dirt on the surface you are going to paint.
Once the surface is dry use a degreaser to remove any contaminants or waxy protective films.
Now you need to ‘key’ the uPVC surface. Use a light grit scotch cloth to lightly sand to take off any sheen, this is effectively a light sanding to improve adhesion for a longer lasting finish. Wipe down the UPVC with the degreaser again and leave to dry.
Once completely dry, use masking tape and masking paper or plastic sheet to cover any areas you don't want painting such as glass, door furniture, brickwork, etc.

    SHAKE AND TEST

    - AEROSOL: Shake the can vigorously for 2-3 minutes until the agitator ball is free and the paint is mixed Before applying the paint we recommend testing the colour and adjusting the spray nozzle for either horizontal or vertical painting.

    - TIN: Mix paint for at least 2 minutes for colour consistency.

    PAINT AND FINISH

    - AEROSOL: Apply in smooth cross coats 250mm distance from the surface, either vertically or horizontally.
Leave to dry for 15 minutes before applying a recommended second coat.
Once you’ve finished painting wait 15 minutes then carefully remove the masking tape, ensuring you pull the tape away from the painted edge not across it.
Leave to dry for 1-2 hours before touching the frame and 48 hours before the windows can be cleaned.
After use turn the aerosol upside down and press to empty nozzle and valve, wipe the nozzle with a cloth to remove any excess paint, it can be reused at a later date.

    - TIN: Brush on in smooth strokes Leave to dry for 15 minutes before applying a second coat if necessary.
Once you’ve finished painting wait 15 minutes then carefully remove the masking tape, ensuring you pull the tape away from the painted edge not across it.
Leave to dry for 1-2 hours before touching the frame and 48 hours before the windows can be cleaned.

PLEASE NOTE: Paint should not be applied in cold, damp weather – it will adversely affect the application, finish, and drying time. The recommended minimum temperature for using spray paint is 15+ degrees, preferably room temperature in a warm and well-ventilated area.

    Additional Delivery Information:

We aim to deliver you order within your chosen delivery schedule; however, if we have to request additional information, this is likely to affect the delivery schedule.

If you have provided incomplete or incorrect details for your paint order this can cause delays in the order processing and despatching. If we require clarification OR any additional information, we will be in touch within 24-48 hours. As soon as we receive the required details back we will process your order on the same chosen delivery schedule.

We will not accept liability for orders received outside the original scheduled delivery window if you have not provided the correct/required information to complete your order.

    Out of area charge:

The couriers we use to deliver your items do charge extra for some "out of area" postal locations. If the shipping charge at checkout has automatically changed this is because the courier has determined this to be "out of area". Due to the nature of the item, some products cannot be sent through the Royal Mail postal network and therefore must go through a specialist courier. The extra costs are beyond our control and we must therefore charge the rate set by the courier to deliver to an "out of area" postcode.

    Please note:
If your delivery address/post code is in the Scottish Highlands & Islands, Isle of Man and Northern Ireland delivery times may be extended. Deliveries can not be made to PO Box addresses.

    Delivery to multiple occupancy premises:

We strongly advise against deliveries to be made to hotels, workplaces or multiple occupancy premises. Any orders made, to be sent to a hotel, workplace or multiple occupancy premises are entirely at the risk of the client.

    Please Note:
We will not accept any liability for orders that fail to arrive to the above or are damaged on receipt.  We will, however, investigate this with the courier and do what we can to help in cases like these.

See our delivery page or returns and refund page for more information.
