PaintNuts Plastic Body Filler

Step 1 – Prepare the surface
Make sure the surface is clean, smooth, and free from dust, grease, or any other contaminants. If needed, sand the area before applying the filler to ensure the best adhesion and finish.

Step 2 – Mix the filler
Place the filler onto a clean mixing board and add the supplied hardener. Use approximately one golf-ball-sized amount of filler with two pea-sized amounts of hardener to achieve the correct 50:1 mix ratio. Mix thoroughly for about one minute until the colour and consistency are completely even.

Step 3 – Apply the filler
Once mixed, apply the filler within 4–5 minutes using the plastic spreader provided. Apply the filler in thin, even layers, as the mixture will begin to harden quickly, especially in warmer conditions.

Step 4 – Add more layers if needed
If the repair requires more than one layer, allow each layer to harden before applying the next. This will help create a stronger repair and a smoother final finish.

Step 5 – Sand the surface
Allow the filler to harden for 20–30 minutes at 20°C. Once fully cured, sand the surface smooth and prepare it for painting or further finishing.

Additional Delivery Information:

We aim to deliver you order within your chosen delivery schedule; however, if we have to request additional information, this is likely to affect the delivery schedule.

If you have provided incomplete or incorrect details for your paint order this can cause delays in the order processing and despatching. If we require clarification OR any additional information, we will be in touch within 24-48 hours. As soon as we receive the required details back we will process your order on the same chosen delivery schedule.

Please note:
We will not accept liability for orders received outside the original scheduled delivery window if you have not provided the correct/required information to complete your order.

Out of area charge:

The couriers we use to deliver your items do charge extra for some "out of area" postal locations. If the shipping charge at checkout has automatically changed this is because the courier has determined this to be "out of area". Due to the nature of the item, some products cannot be sent through the Royal Mail postal network and therefore must go through a specialist courier. The extra costs are beyond our control and we must therefore charge the rate set by the courier to deliver to an "out of area" postcode.

Please note:
If your delivery address/post code is in the Scottish Highlands & Islands, Isle of Man and Northern Ireland delivery times may be extended. Deliveries can not be made to PO Box addresses.

Delivery to multiple occupancy premises:

We strongly advise against deliveries to be made to hotels, workplaces or multiple occupancy premises. Any orders made, to be sent to a hotel, workplace or multiple occupancy premises are entirely at the risk of the client. 

Please Note:
We will not accept any liability for orders that fail to arrive to the above or are damaged on receipt.  We will, however, investigate this with the courier and do what we can to help in cases like these.
