10 everyday classic cars and their original colours
It’s true that some classic car enthusiasts go for the Porsche, the Aston Martin and the Jaguar. However, there are a lot of family cars and everyday motors that have retained their popularity over the decades. Here are a few of our favourites and a look at the original colours they sported back then - and, thanks to original colour-matched car paint, now.1. Triumph Stag
This 1970s 2+2 sports car remains a popular marque among car enthusiasts, especially in the UK. While it’s remembered for being style over substance, with engine issues that were never fully resolved, around 6,000 are still registered in this country.

While engineering has come a long way since then, it remains a firm favourite among car enthusiasts.

A rival to the VW Beetle (below), the Morris Minor eventually conceded defeat, but not before it had clocked up many fans of its style, versatility and economy.
